ANSWER :No, PPSC does not accept application in any other format except through Online Application form.
Question No. 4:My session expired during the filling of Online Application. Do I have to re-enter all the application data? It not, how can I resume my application?
ANSWER :In case, you have left the PPSC website before the submission of online application, the next time, you start the online application process, system will resume from where you had left out last time i.e. you will have to provide information only for the remaining steps. Already saved information will not be required again. You may continue your application by the following procedure:Visit the PPSC Website and click the ‘Apply Online’ button from the home page.Select your post, read the instructions and enter your CNIC Number.Fill out the remaining information as required by the system and submit your application.

ANSWER :The submission of online application is instantly confirmed by provision of an “Application Number” and “Edit Token Number” to the candidate. Details are also sent to a candidate on email and SMS.

ANSWER :“Edit Token Number” is sent to the candidate once at the time of submission of online application, it is therefore, important to save it for future reference.

Question No. 8:How to Change/Edit the Application if a Candidate has Mistakenly Added the Wrong Information?
ANSWER :To assess the Application Form for editing mistakenly added data, a candidate needs to have an “Application Number” and “Token Number” that are provided to a candidate after the successful submission of an application. Option for “Edit Application” is available on PPSC Website from where changes can be made in following forms:-1. Preliminary Information2. Personal Information3. Qualification sets4. Question No. 9:How is age relaxation given across the board?
ANSWER :The relaxation in upper age limit is 5 years for males and 8 years for female candidates given by the Secretary of Department, will be given across the board; which will appear as part of the advertisement.

ANSWER :General age relaxation is for everyone fulfilling the pre-requisite criteria for the post.

Question No. 13:How the eligibility about the Qualification of a candidate is determined?
ANSWER :Eligibility of a candidate is determined against the prescribed qualification of a post given in the advertisement. However, higher and additional qualification will not be considered if a candidate does not possess advertised essential qualification.
Question No. 14:If a Person has more than one Degree with result declared in the same year, for example, M. Phil from P.U and M.Ed from Allama Iqbal Open University, whether both these two degrees would be considered valid by PPSC , or only one of these two will be considered?
ANSWER :Two degrees attained in the same academic years would not be considered. Only one degree will be considered for the applied post.

ANSWER :The candidate must have acquired the prescribed academic qualification on or before the closing date for submission of applications. Application of a candidate whose result has not been officially declared/announced by the Board/University on or before the closing date, is not considered.

ANSWER :After induction of e-pay system, If the requisition is withdrawn by the administrative department, the fee paid by the candidate will automatically be adjusted by the system during the next immediate online apply within one year (starting from the date of withdrawal of post) of such candidate.

ANSWER :Payment System Identifier (PSID) number is a 17-digit unique number required to perform a payment transaction and it is generated automatically by the system at the fee payment step. Applicant is also informed through Email and SMS intimation regarding PSID generation from the EPay Punjab.

ANSWER :Fee payment doesn’t mean that your application has been submitted. Instead, submission of application requires more phases to be completed after the payment of fee. ANSWER :PSID Number will be different for each post. If you want to apply for multiple posts, you are required to get PSID Number and pay requisite fee for each post separately.
Question No. 25:How do I know if my payment is successful?
ANSWER :You will receive an Email and SMS intimation by the EPay Punjab regarding the successful payment transaction. You will also receive a post payment Email and SMS Intimation by the PPSC asking to resume and submit your application.
Question No. 26:I paid my fee successfully but system generated new PSID Number when I resumed my application.
ANSWER :In case, you resumed your application and new PSID Number is generated after the payment of fee, please review your CNIC Number and post name as application will resume only if CNIC Number and post name are the same as entered before the payment of fee.

ANSWER :If you have successfully paid the fee but system is not proceeding further, please contact your respective payment channel / bank helpline through which you have made the payment so that your payment status may be updated in the system.

ANSWER :Fee may be paid using any option under Government Payments (Punjab) (i.e. e-Abiana / Excise & Taxation / Punjab Cotton fee / Punjab Mutation Fee etc.). You are advised to review your payment details after entering your PSID Number at the application before proceeding for payment.
